Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Nursing
- AHPRA registration
- Australian working rights (essential)
- Australian drivers’ licence
- National Police Clearance
Responsibilities:
- Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
- Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
- Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
- Wound care and assessment.
- Parenteral Nutrition (TPN, PEG and PPT).
- Bowel management.
- Medication administration.
- Basic Catheter change and care.
- Palliative Care
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designer when needed.
- Able to travel from client to client in a timely fashion.
- Passionate about making a difference.
